A program of films against despair as part of a fellowship with Programmers of the Future. The two-day cinema program and expanded online screening selection spanned short nonfiction works, audio-visual art pieces, found home videos and fragments from video games, all exploring the feeling that there is something missing in the world right now. This program was a way to describe this feeling through cinema and to explore the different ways of combating despair and disappointment through artistic practice.

I also developed a lecture performance inspired by the research done during the residency together with Lebanese filmmaker Taymour Boulos called Raised in the Institution of Dreaming, which premiered at EYE as the top selling event of the week.
